Our next food box delivery is going to be April 23-24. We will do our best to serve all families, but supplies are limited so please sign up soon if you have not done so already and want a box.

On the delivery days, someone will contact you via phone or text message to let you know they are on their way. If there are times when you know you will not be home, please do let us know! We can best serve you if we know what you need and how to get it to you.

Our next delivery after this one will be on Saturday, May 8. Stay tuned for more information on that.

Farmers to family food boxes contain a variety of refrigerated foods, including sausage, chicken, yogurt, cheese, milk, as well as oranges, sweet potatoes, and cabbage. If available, HPC Pantry boxes contain dry goods and cans, like cereal, grits, crackers, peanut butter, red beans, noodles, green beans,

and corn. These boxes are provided courtesy of Healing Place Church on Highland Road, and we graciously thank both them and the Baton Rouge Food Bank for their support and partnership.

Focus foods is another great, free, delivered food service that you can utilize to get your children meals. I have seen those boxes and they are typically refrigerated, vacuum sealed meals with some extras like applesauce cups, string cheese, muffins, and juice boxes.

I do have a resource for emergency baby formula, but it is for extreme emergencies only. However, if you are in an emergency and need formula for your baby and have nobody to turn to, please reach out to me. I will work with my community partners to get what I can for you.

Please know that I genuinely care about your family and want you to have what you need to be healthy. I am bound by resources, but I am always trying to be and do better. If there is anything I can do to help you, to answer your questions, or to improve what we already do, please let me know. I truly want what I do to be helpful to you. If it's not... tell me!

Kristina
